Filipino Americans wish to express our position on the Infrastructure Bill that will pass the House, and sooner or later, be signed by the President. This bill creates tremendous business opportunities nationally.
We, the Filipino American, a minority group, must be fairly represented at the Nationwide Small Business Administration and other statewide business councils. Policy decisions or considerations on contracting and other business opportunities are usually made at these councils, which affects the livelihood of small and minority-owned businesses.
The Filipino American Political Action Committee (FilAm PAC) was created to promote contracting and other business opportunities for small Filipino American businesses by providing direct contract support statewide or sub-contracting support to the BIG businesses.
We need to set the tone of how the government and BIG businesses spends our tax money. There will be a capacity issue that every state agency would have to face; therefore, we need to work on the policy of business, contracting opportunities, training and staffing augmentation and support.
There are major organizations that has the “heads up” on these opportunities. With the full support of over 4 million Filipino Americans nationwide, we, the FilAm PAC ensure a political seat at statewide small business agencies and provide economic empowerment to our community.
We need your contribution and support. Let us safeguard the Filipino Americans interest and that we are not overlooked during the passing of the Infrastructure Bill and other political policies.
